“Mona und Lisa möchten groß und schön werden. Reich und berühmt und sie möchten die Welt retten. Sie haben kein Geld, manchmal haben sie welches, wenn es gut läuft und dann kaufen sie sich alles, was sie wollen, bis das Geld alle ist. Sie kennen keine Gnade. Ab einem gewissen Zeitpunkt in ihrem Leben haben sie verstanden, dass die Anderen ein anderes Spiel spielen, als das, was sie immer spielen wollten. Aber ihr Spiel spielt keiner mit und deswegen spielen sie auch nicht das der Anderen. Sie heucheln kein Interesse, sie sind arrogant, sie kämpfen. Sie kämpfen um ihr Überleben, um das Überleben eines Geistes. Sie nennen ihn Idiotes.”
The play will be broadcast live on Radio T to Chemnitz during the performances, while the audience at the venue will be equipped with wireless headphones. The play is therefore designed to also function as a pure radio broadcast. The theater's working methods are linked to the medium of radio. Hearing and seeing are separated from each other, come together again, develop and create a joint choreography.
Three personified radio waves, called the Radiotinnen, slip out of the radio onto an oil rig, into the everyday life of shift workers Mona and Lisa. During a power outage, the trio discovers a vortex in the depths of the structure that transports them to unexpected places to pursue their mission of making the future unpredictable again. Mona and Lisa surrender themselves to the travelers and their inhuman logic of a sound world of radio wave travelers, which carries them away into a collective babble.
